The Wellness Collective

Healthcare often feels like an uphill battle. You’re navigating a broken system, balancing overwhelming schedules, and striving to show compassion even on the toughest days. It’s exhausting—but you’re not alone. We understand the weight of this calling because we’ve been in the trenches alongside you.

That's why we created the Wellness Collective—a movement to celebrate the commitment of healthcare workers and champion their resilience and wellbeing. At Watermark Health, we’re passionate about Redeeming Healthcare, One Person at a Time.

In a world full of demands, we are dedicated to transforming the healthcare experience for both patients and caregivers. Join us at our conference this year to explore practical tools and insights for redeeming the medical experience in a shifting culture and climate.

Faith and Trauma-Informed Practices

Whole-Person Care: Rooted in Scripture, Backed by Evidence

This session explores how trauma affects the brain, body, and spirit, especially in vulnerable populations like immigrants, refugees, abuse survivors, and the homeless. Through a biblical lens, we’ll discuss trauma-informed care, building trust, and integrating faith to bring hope and healing. You will learn to be a compassionate caregiver while also caring for yourself.

What does it mean to care for the whole person? Scripture affirms that every human is an embodied soul, and research supports the impact of spiritual and physical practices on health. This session explores a biblical foundation for whole-person care, evidence supporting holistic health models, and practical frameworks like the HOPE model for integrating faith into patient interactions. You’ll also be challenged to embody this approach in your own life, reflecting Christ’s love in your care.
